Back from our brief trip to Wales to go here. Sadly the rain was torrential the whole time we were there but it was good to get away and gave me time to think about what is important. For anyone who loves mountain biking it is an excellent place to go to.
We stayed here. The hotel was on television on the BBC recently in Railway Walks with Julia Bradbury. The railway used to run directly in front of the hotel and we spent the night in what used to be part of the station.

Shame it was so wet...but that's the British weather for you! Interesting about the old railway line. We have an old line very close to us, which we often walk along. Hope your week is good.
What a shame about the rain, and when it rains in Wales it rains! Glad you were still able to enjoy your cycling - the hotel looks wonderful - I'd seen one or two of those railway walk programmes but must have missed this one - hope you've dried out now:)
