Me and my big mouth
Two weeks ago I was very happy telling everyone how both my sons were lucky enough to have jobs they enjoyed. A week later I received a text on my phone whilst at work telling me that Eldest Son was on his way home after the large garage he has worked at for 2 1/2 years had been closed down. The Official Receivers had walked in that morning with their clipboard out of the blue.
Needless to say he is finding it difficult to come to terms with it. He has worked ever since he was 16 years old. Part time to start with and paying his own way through college before finally landing this job which he loved.
What happens now we don't know. He has sent his CV to numerous places so far without a reply and has looked to see if he could do something else.
He sadly got his childhood toys out of the loft today and asked if he should sell some of them. I said not to do anything just yet but me thinks it is tough times ahead for all of us.

Really sorry to hear that, Rosie. Here's hoping he manages to get a new job soon.
Sorry to hear that Rosie, as you say it's going to be tough for lots of people. Hope he finds something soon :( x
Oh dear, that is bad news, and just before Christmas too! I hope your son finds work again soon. x
