We had lots of changes over the last year where I work and my hope was that it would have improved when the new brooms came. What's the saying something about 'The grass is greener on the other side'. I've probably said too much already so I won't say any more.
OH and I have talked about making some big changes this year but I will have to work for a while longer to help with funding this.
As I don't seem to be able to read or write anything all I can say is thank goodness for Sky Plus.

Sorry you are not sleeping too well, Rosie. I think I can probably guess at most of what you have left unsaid and I know it's difficult in the world of school, but it's good to try and switch off from it completely when you leave the building. (Not that I ever managed it, mind you!)
Thanks Jenny. It's isn't easy is it/ Several colleagues were eligible for retirement last year and I almost wish I had been a few years older so I could join them. They are having a great time now including taking holidays during school time.
Hello Rosie. I am so sorry that you are having trouble sleeping. Some light physical activity might help you to sleep because if you are physically tired then you might be able to switch off mentally too. Hot and cold alternating foot baths are meant to help too. I was a big fan of Sex and the City so I think I will be tuning in to 'Hung' as you recommend. x
i do hope you get a good nights sleep soon, have you tried Horlicks? Works for me everytime. :) xxx
Oh dear, sleepless nights are a pain aren't they? I sympathise as I know how Paul felt his last year of teaching - he took early retirement as did many others. Hope things improve soon - not long to your Easter break - you sound as if you are ready for s few days of rest and relaxation:)
You need to follow your heart Rosie and find your bliss. Try to find some joy in the present and the life you desire will seem more achievable. Try and come to stitch n bitch next week. There are lots of new people and it is very relaxed. Even if you just sit there with your needles but don't actually do anything all the lovely chat with fellow crafters might just be distraction enough from school for a while.
sleeping problems suck. i hope fall into a better patten of sleep too xxx
warm wishes
