Somewhere..
...in a field near me live these beautiful animals. When I was a little girl I used to think it would lovely to one day see the Highland Cattle I had seen on the television. So when I grew up I went for a holiday in Scotland and was thrilled when I saw them for the first time. Now I only have to go a short walk from my home and there is a herd of them.

They are rather fabulous creatures but that fringe would bother me!
They are very beautiful animals..and yes I would want to take a pair of scissors to the fringe!! ;-)

When we drive towards Hartington there is a field full of Highland cattle near Ipstones and I always look out for them - they are such beautiful creatures. We also sometimes pass a field of Alpacas, too. That is such a strange sight in an English field:)
