Harley seems to have taken over the homestead. I bought a lovely furry basket for him to sleep in but the only cat sleeping in it is a toy one. He prefers to sleep on one of our chairs or the even the floor next to said basket. He wakes in the middle of the night by jumping on the bed and lying on top of us and loves to follow us around. I bought Gizmo a wicker basket when he was a kitten but he never uses it! Harley looks very much at home there!
Thanks Simone, It does make me wonder why we spend money on espensive things that they will never use. I thought I was being a good owner.x
Cats are the strangest creatures aren't they - they have 'fads' on where they sleep, too. Our three sort of move around the house in and out of favourite spots like backs of chairs, windowsills, against the bathroom radiator, under the bed, on the bed, never in the same room as each other though. Harley is such a handsome chap:)
Dogs are as bad. Paddy goes straight into his basket at bedtime and sneaks onto our bed in the early hours. He's so light-footed that we never feel him arrive.
