Thank you to Carolyn at Willow House and Jenny over at Demob Happy Teacher for your birthday wishes. I had a lovely birthday even though I had a bit of a wobble at lunchtime when I remember just how old I am !!!
I have finally finished the painting the hall and landing and eagerly awaiting for the carpet fitters on Friday. Lois at Matsqui Musings I will do my best to post a photo when its all done. Chalk white walls and oatmeal carpet but never mind.

white walls and oatmeal carpet - it sounds lovely and elegant. Just what I'd like but, having a messy toddler in the house (yes, I mean Keith! ;)) it would be impractical. :)

Chalk white walls and oatmeal carpet sounds good to me - a serene entrance. Glad you had a lovely birthday, we all entitled to a bit of a wobble when we realise how old we are but it's definetly better than the alternative!
