After the Country Living Fair we stopped off St Pancras Station to see the refurbishments . It was very impressive and the champagne bar for those travelling on Eurostar was tempting. Maybe next time we are there it will be to hop over to Paris for a little shopping and lunch.

I turned on the TV last night after getting into bed, and I was surprized to see a documentary done by a Canadian about the renovation of St Pancras. He was over there covering the work, and discussing why it is that Canada doesn't have the transportation systems Europe has. We have the luxury of so much space here that driving our cars everywhere is an option people here are not willing to give up. I probably would have just switched channels if I hadn't popped into your blog earlier in the day.
What a magnificent building. Reading blogs is a little like travelling while staying home. Thanks for the photos of St Pancras
