The sun shone and it was a lovely weekend so we went off to another National Trust property not far from us Ightham Mote . We strolled around the woods and had a delightful lunch the restaurant.
I wonder what sort of dog lived in this kennel?

what a beautiful place to visit, in the end I didn't rejoin the NT because I didn't think we would get enough use out of membership because of Stuart's leg. Looking forward to next year though.

It must have been huge, what a kennel!
I just gave my dad a DVD collection of National Trust houses, there is over 800 hours of viewing, that should keep him out of trouble.
