Another trip to Canterbury

The River Stour runs through the middle city.

Little Italy below is my favourite Italian restaurant.

Next weekend is my friend Penny's 50th birthday party. What better excuse did I need to go to Canterbury with OH to look for something ne w towear. A quick walk around and we we both had new outfits for the party although I may still wear something from my wardrobe, I can't decide.

After that we both were feeling hungry and headed for our favourite Italian restaurant Little Italy. The waiters are always friendly and welcoming as well as being good looking (Shh, don't let OH know that's another good reason why I like going there) It doesn't look much from the outside and for years we walked past and never gave it a second glance. But one day we did and found it was filled with a collection of lovely old furniture and big old mirrors and in winter a real fire is burning in the fireplace and as always the food is gorgeous but far too much to eat all at once.

Both OH and I have started jobs (mine is temporary at the moment but I tell you more about it another time. Bit nervous in case it doesn't work out) plus my dear cat Fred died on Monday after being ill since Christmas, so it was good to have a relaxing meal after a busy, stressful week.
Cheers and I hope you have a happy weekend fellow bloggers x
