Other half and I went for a lovely walk in the countryside near our home and collected Holly with berries and Ivy. I made into a decoration using a terracotta plant pot I had in the shed and painted white, self adhesive ribbon from the local craft shop and a candle that was in the cupboard. I have so much foliage left I am looking for other things to use it for. Years ago I used to make the wreath to put on the front door with things found in the garden and the hedgerows. Maybe It's time to start that tradition again as they look so much more traditional than those bought in the local DIY store.
